History
Avon Rubber p.l.c., established in the UK in 1885, sold its automotive division known as Avon Automotive to Avon Automotive Holdings Inc. in a management-led buyout in August of 2006. Avon Automotive Holdings Inc. is established and controlled by Red Diamond Capital Partners, LP and a management team led by Avon Automotive's Leland Richards. Formed in 2002, Red Diamond Capital is an independent private equity company.
