Leland Richards
President/CEO
Lee started in 1987 as a Customer Service Representative at Cadillac Rubber & Plastics, which was acquired by Avon Rubber, plc in 1989. Lee spent time in Detroit from 1989 to 1995 in various sales and sales/marketing management positions before moving to New York as General Manager of the company's Injected Rubber & Plastics Division. In 1996, Lee was promoted to Vice President-Operations, based again in Cadillac, Michigan. In 1999, Lee was promoted to President, Avon Automotive North America, and in 2001 was elected to the Avon Rubber, plc Board of Directors as Managing Director, Avon Automotive North America. In late 2004, Lee assumed control of the global automotive business. In early 2006, Lee led a management buyout of the automotive business from Avon Rubber, plc, closing the transaction in August 2006. Red Diamond Capital and Mitsubishi Capital were the equity sponsors.
Lee has a B.S. in Marketing from Ferris State University, an MBA from the University of Detroit, and in 2004 completed the Senior Executive Programme at London Business School.
