David Nielsen
Chief Operating Officer
David Nielsen began his career in the aerospace industry with Cessna Aircraft Company, where he gained both design and manufacturing engineering experience.
In March 1988, David joined Avon Automotive where he has successfully held numerous managerial positions including Production Supervisor, Plant Manager, and VP of Engineering. In 2005, David was given responsibility for Avon Automotive’s businesses in North America and Europe, as Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Engineering.
David was named Chief Operating Officer in January 2007, with worldwide responsibility for all of Avon Automotive’s business operations.
David received his B.S. degree from ITT Technical Institute in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1985.
